BES-002: TEACHING, LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT
Time : 3 hours Maximum Weightage : 70%
Note : (i) All the questions are compulsory.
(ii) All questions carry equal weightage.
1. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
Explain the need and importance of children's active participation in class-room. Describe any four techniques that could be used by the teacher for active participation of learners in class - room.
OR
Describe concept of "Learning" from Cognitive perspective. Enlist applications of Ausubel's learning theory for classroom learning.
2. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
What is meant by 'Learning style’? Explain different learning styles with examples.
OR
What is ICT ? Explain need and application of ICT in teaching - learning and evaluation.
3. Write short notes on any four of the following in about 150 words each:
(a) Influence of Socio-Cultural factors on Learning.
(b) ORAL TEST - Need, importance and use.
(c) Explain Five Es. Instructional model.
(d) Relevance of Mobile learning in education.
(e) Application of Power Point slides in teaching.
(f) Planning of co-curricular activities.
4. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
As a teacher you must have prepared various types of low cost teaching - learning materials. Explain the process of their preparation and their effectiveness in improving teaching - learning.
